Heart Beating match!!!
Zaheer Bowled Well For Come Back India!

Man Of The Match Strauss: I'm happy with the draw? Yes and no. We started well, but had a power play forgettable batting. Shahzad and thanks for bringing us back to Swann. We are supporting us to play better than that, we lost three to four windows quickly. Somehow, we were disappointed and in some respects, we are pleased to have completed the game on. Some good things to have in this game, it is difficult to get up and feedback. It was a great game of cricket, Tendulkar has played very well.

Dhoni: Andrew hit very well, there was a time when England was going out with her and the end of the day, I'm happy with the result. Zak has played very well, have risen from nothing and returns. If not for him, the game was wrapped up in 48 overs. If 338 is not enough, we must score more than 350 in all games that can not happen. If our bowling does not improve, there will come a time in the tournament when things are difficult for us. We have a lot of gardeners some slow and can not do much, but there is room for improvement in the bowling department.

This has been a nerve-wracking encounter to say the least. The balance of the game shifted from one side to the other, at halfway stage the Indians were sitting comfortably at the top, but sensational batting from Strauss took the game totally away from them. But there was a Zaheer Khan, who decided to change a thing or two, came back strongly in the batting powerplay, took crucial wickets to bring India back into the game. But Swann and Shahzad held their nervers and this was a fitting end to an evenly contested game. Absolute thriller! This has surely been the best game this WC, and lets hope there are many such games coming our way though the heart takes a bit of a beating in such games.

Zaheer Khan: Strauss batted really well, he put pressure on us and it was a cliffhanger. Always knew that 340 was a big enough score to win, we thought we will win it easily, it was a close contest between the bat and ball. Powerplays can go either ways, we got wickets in quick succession and came back into the game. We are clicking as a batting unit, as far as the bowling is concerned, we need to improve but there is time.

Sir Sachin Tendulkar’s spectacular century set the tone for a formidable 338 all out against England despite the team not managing to complete playing out the entire 50 overs.
It was a clinical and effective display of the willow’s prowess by Dhoni’s men as Sachin(120), Gambhir(51) and Yuvraj(58) made their mark at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, giving enoughreasons to the Indian fans to cheer their throats hoarse.

Scorecard: India Vs England»

England did manage to stop a complete carnage with two wickets in two balls (Yuvraj and Dhoni) towards the death. Soon after, Virat Kohli (8) and Yusuf Pathan (14) fell while trying to up the ante. Harbhajan was out plumb in front of the wicket for a duck and this sudden array of wickets falling did give a breather for the visitors, not letting the target go beyond the psychological barrier of 350 runs.

Tendulkar playing in a match celebrating the World Cup at home after a hiatus of fifteen years with its 98th century international fast smart and, above all, the sublime. It was his fifth century in a World Cup, the most by a drummer in the history of sport.

Michael Yardy was the man to have in the window of the Indian captain MS Dhoni largest reserves showing the lid. Things have not changed for the better, yet for the visitors as the legendary Indian batting line-up stayed true to his word.

India top order clicked at the right time, establishing a solid platform for a mammoth total and central order simply follow suit.

Tendulkar ended with a spectacular fifty-six, bringing the crowd to their feet Bangalore. His companion at the other end, Gambhir, also won half of the century, deserved well of their own, but could not continue with the stick.

In the morning, was found only a temporary setback for India as Virender Sehwag (35) reckless sleeves finally ended when he was captured bright window behind Matt Prior to the extraction of blood in the first place.

Sehwag had initiated proceedings against England in style - sending the ball beyond the border in the first installment of himself. The ball flew just after the fingers of the play slip and nerves soon calmed down.

Giving Sehwag company at the other end was Sachin Tendulkar, who saw the joke Delhi blaster the English side, lobbying three possible attacks in the first year that could not be taken. However, the ball found the edge of the stick more often Viru, ending his season with the bat for the day.
