Malinga finished with figures of 6-38 against Kenya

Sri Lankan Lasith Malinga rhythm player became the second player in two days to make a World Cup hat-trick, at a distance of six wickets against Kenya.

Malinga has achieved the feat in a period of four wickets in six balls as Kenya were dismissed for 142 in Colombo.

Monday, Kemar Roach had a hat trick as his team beat the Netherlands West Indies by 215 runs to New Delhi.

This is the second World Cup Malinga hat-trick after four windows in South Africa in four balls in 2007.It is also the hat of the seventh round to take during a World Cup.

Chetan Sharma was India's first against New Zealand in 1987, which was followed by acute Mashtaq Saqlain of Pakistan against Zimbabwe 12 years later.
